Job Title: Electrical Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Department: Electrical Maintenance & Utilities

Work Location: WTP (Water Treatment Plant), STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant)

Job Responsibilities

Perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment in WTP, STP, and ETP plants.

Maintain and troubleshoot motors, pumps, blowers, agitators, and other electrical equipment.

Handle electrical panels, MCC panels, PCC panels, VFDs, soft starters, and motor control circuits.

Inspect and maintain LT panels, transformers, cables, circuit breakers, contactors, relays, and overload protection systems.

Monitor and maintain electrical systems for pumps, aeration blowers, chemical dosing systems, and sludge handling equipment.

Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize plant downtime.

Check motor current, voltage, insulation resistance, and earthing.

Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and wiring diagrams.





Coordinate with mechanical and instrumentation teams for plant operation and maintenance.

Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and daily reports.

Follow electrical safety procedures, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and PPE requirements.

Required Skills

Knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance.

Experience with motors, pumps, MCC panels, VFDs, and PLC control panels.

Knowledge of electrical testing instruments such as a multimeter and megger.

Understanding of WTP, STP, and ETP plant operations.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and perform preventive maintenance.
