- Supervise and coordinate the activities of service staff during restaurant operations.
- Welcome guests and ensure prompt, courteous, and professional service.
- Allocate tables and sections to service staff and monitor their performance.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service.
- Explain menu items, ingredients, specials, and promotions to guests.
- Ensure correct order delivery, presentation, and adherence to service standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues to the Restaurant Manager when required.
- Monitor table turnover, guest waiting time, and service efficiency.
- Ensure proper mise-en-place, table setup, and cleanliness of the restaurant.
- Conduct briefings with service staff before each shift regarding specials, reservations, and operational updates.
- Train and guide team members on service procedures, grooming, hygiene, and guest handling.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and discipline.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.




- Check bills and coordinate with the cashier to ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in monitoring guest feedback and improving service quality.
- Ensure proper handling of restaurant equipment, crockery, cutlery, and other service items.
- Support upselling and suggestive selling to improve revenue and enhance the guest experience.
