Job Description – Machine Development Application Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Machine Development Application Engineer to develop, program, test, and commission software for automated machines and industrial automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop PLC, HMI, SCADA, and motion control software.
- Program machine sequences, alarms, interlocks, and safety logic.
- Integrate PLCs with servo drives, VFDs, robots, and vision systems.
- Troubleshoot automation software and communication issues.
- Perform machine debugging, FAT, SAT, and commissioning.
- Optimize machine cycle time and performance.
- Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with engineering teams.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of industrial automation or machine software development experience.
- Strong hands-on PLC programming and HMI development.




- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, Rockwell, Beckhoff, or equivalent platforms.
- Knowledge of motion control, servo drives, industrial communication protocols, and machine troubleshooting.
- Experience in machine commissioning and automation projects.
- SPM or custom-machine automation experience is preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Structured Text, Ladder Logic, and Function Block Diagram.
- Robotics, machine vision, OPC UA, MQTT, and Industry 4.0.
