PROGRAMME TEST DIRECTOR

Role Summary:

Looking for a senior leader with a combination of customer-facing, test consulting, quality engineering leadership, testing transformation expertise, Testing CoE establishment experience, and cloud testing capabilities. The individual will be expected to engage with customer stakeholders, understand business and quality challenges, define enterprise testing strategies, build testing roadmaps, drive quality transformation initiatives, and lead large-scale testing programs.

Key Requirements

- 18+ years of Quality Engineering / Testing experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise testing programs
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Ability to consult with customers and translate business pain points into testing solutions
- Experience defining enterprise-wide testing strategies and governance models
- Hands-on experience establishing and scaling Testing Centers of Excellence (TCoE)
- Expertise in Automation, Performance Engineering, Continuous Testing, and DevSecOps
- Strong Cloud Testing experience across Azure, AWS, GCP, and SaaS platforms
- Experience supporting digital transformation, ERP, cloud migration, and modernization programs
- Ability to lead distributed global teams and manage multi-vendor environments

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

- Executive stakeholder management, customer consulting, and business solutioning.
- Ability to prepare proposals, business cases, RFP/RFI responses, and testing transformation roadmaps
- Enterprise Test Strategy, Program Test Management, Quality Governance, and Risk Management.




- Experience in establishing and transforming Testing Centers of Excellence (TCoE).
- Strong expertise in Functional, Integration, UAT, Performance, Test Data, and Workplace Management.
- Test Automation Strategy, Continuous Testing, and DevOps/DevSecOps integration.
- Cloud Testing experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including Cloud Migration Validation.
- Hands-on knowledge of test management and delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA/Zephyr/X-ray, ALM/Octane and reporting dashboards
- Release Management, Quality Gates, KPI-driven governance, and multi-vendor management.
- Strategic planning, client relationship management, and people leadership.
- Transformation leadership with experience managing large-scale enterprise programs.

- AI-led Testing and intelligent quality engineering solutions.
- Security Testing and Service Virtualization.
- Shift-Left and Shift-Right testing practices.
- SaaS platform testing (SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow).
- Hybrid Cloud Testing and Cloud-native Test Automation.
- Operating model design and governance framework establishment.
- Shared services, demand management, and testing process standardization.
- Executive business case development, proposal creation, and presales support.
- Financial governance and large-scale delivery management.
- Advanced quality metrics,



analytics dashboards using tools viz. ADO / JIRA / and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Preferred certifications - ISTQB, CSTE, SAFe Agilist
