- Perform grinding, deburring, and surface-finishing operations on metal components.
- Remove excess weld material, sharp edges, burrs, and spatter from fabricated parts.
- Use angle grinders, hand grinders, and other grinding tools safely.
- Prepare metal surfaces for welding, painting, and further fabrication work.
- Assist welders and fitters in fabrication activities as required.
- Ensure proper finishing of MS plates, pipes, structures, frames, and other components.
- Check finished components for surface quality and dimensional accuracy as instructed.
- Maintain grinding machines and tools in valuable working condition.
- Follow production schedules and complete assigned work within deadlines.
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE, including safety goggles, gloves, face shields, and safety shoes.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the production area.
