About the Role

KR Mangalam University is seeking a qualified and passionate Assistant Professor – Respiratory Therapy to join its academic team. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality academic instruction, supporting practical and clinical learning, and mentoring students in the field of Respiratory Therapy.

B.Sc. candidates with relevant knowledge and experience may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in Respiratory Therapy.
- Plan and prepare course content, lesson plans, presentations, and learning materials.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and support students during skill-based learning.
- Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, practicals, and other academic activities.
- Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development.
- Maintain academic records and ensure timely completion of academic responsibilities.




- Participate in curriculum development, departmental activities, workshops, seminars, and other university initiatives.
- Promote a professional, student-centric, and cooperative learning setting.
- Stay updated with developments, technologies, and best practices in Respiratory Therapy.

Candidate Profile

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Respiratory Therapy or a relevant qualification.
- Robust knowledge of Respiratory Therapy concepts and clinical practices.
- Academic or clinical experience will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and student-management skills.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and healthcare education.
- Candidates who can join on an immediate basis will be preferred.
