Job Title: Spare Parts Manager – OLA Electric

Position Summary

The Spare Parts Manager oversees the end-to-end management, stocking, distribution, and inventory control of Electric Vehicle (EV) spare parts, accessories, sub-assemblies, and battery components across the service center network. This role ensures maximum part availability for maintenance and repair jobs while maintaining lean stock levels, minimizing backorders, and ensuring strict adherence to EV safety and warranty return protocols.

Key Responsibilities & Duties1. Inventory Management & Forecasting

- Maintain optimal inventory levels of fast-moving, slow-moving, and critical EV components (motors, controllers, harnesses, display panels, structural parts, and battery modules).
- Utilize DMS/ERP software (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) to monitor stock movement, run regular stock audits, and maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
- Analyze consumption patterns to forecast demand and place timely replenish purchase orders (POs) with central warehouses/suppliers.

2. Service Support & TAT Reduction

- Coordinate closely with Service Technicians and Workshop Supervisors to ensure immediate availability of required parts for open Job Cards.
- Actively track and resolve parts-related delay escalations to reduce overall Vehicle Turnaround Time (TAT).
- Monitor backorder aging and follow up with logistics and central supply teams to prioritize critical backordered parts.

3. Inbound/Outbound Logistics & Gate Control

- Inspect incoming stock shipments for quantity, quality, and transit damage; complete Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and Gate-In processes within target timelines.
- Manage stock allocations, internal transfers,



and outgoing shipments for satellite locations or mobile service units.

4. Warranty & Reverse Logistics (EV Specific)

- Oversee the secure storage, handling, and reverse logistics of replaced warranty parts, defective components, and repairable battery units.
- Ensure strict adherence to high-voltage component safety guidelines and environmental handling procedures.
- Tag, document, and process warranty claims and return shipments to the central warehouse or OEMs within target Turnaround Time (TAT).

5. Audit, Compliance & Cost Control

- Conduct periodic physical stock counts (weekly/monthly/annual) and reconcile physical stock against system balances.
- Control parts obsolescence, aging stock, and scrap generation.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safety-compliant bin locations within the parts store.

- Part Fill Rate / Availability % (First-time availability for technicians)
- System Stock Accuracy % (Physical vs. System Stock)
- Backorder Ageing & TAT
- GRN & Inbound Processing Time
- Warranty Return / Battery Return TAT

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile, or Supply Chain Management; or a relevant Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: 3 to 7 years of experience in automotive spare parts management, inventory control, or after-sales warehouse operations (2-Wheeler or Electric Vehicle experience preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Dealer Management Systems (DMS), SAP, Salesforce, or WMS tools.
- Sound knowledge of spare parts cataloging, bin management, and replenishment logic.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analytics).
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, problem-solving ability, leadership, and cross-functional coordination (Service, Logistics, Finance).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
