Experience: Minimum 1 year in Garment Industry
Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect fabric for defects, stains, holes, shade variation, weaving defects, etc.
- Check fabric quality as per required standards.
- Perform fabric inspection before cutting/production.
- Identify and report fabric defects accurately.
- Maintain fabric inspection records and reports.
- Coordinate with the fabric/store/production team regarding quality issues.
- Ensure proper fabric inspection and approval before production.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in garment manufacturing.
- Valuable knowledge of fabric types, defects and quality checking.
- Experience in fabric inspection/checking is preferred.
- Good observation and attention to detail.
- Basic documentation/reporting skills.
