Job Description: Design Engineer – Fire Fighting Systems

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer with experience in the fire fighting and fire protection industry to prepare, develop, and coordinate technical drawings and designs for fire protection system installation projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare fire fighting system layouts, detailed drawings, and technical designs using AutoCAD.
- Design hydrant, sprinkler, pump room, and other fire protection systems.
- Prepare hydraulic calculations, BOQs, material specifications, and technical documentation as required.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to ensure proper coordination.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable fire safety standards, project specifications, and relevant codes.
- Coordinate with project, site, and execution teams to resolve technical issues.
- Revise drawings based on site requirements and client or consultant feedback.




- Assist in material selection and technical submissions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred in fire fighting system design.
- AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory.
- Knowledge of hydrant, sprinkler, and fire protection systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with prior experience in the fire fighting industry and practical knowledge of fire protection system design and installation will be preferred.
