@Job Title: HVAC Sales Engineer

Department: Sales / Business Development
Reports To: Sales Manager / Head of EngineeringKey Responsibilities

- Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales leads, build relationships with contractors, consultants, architects, and facility managers.
- Technical Consultations: Evaluate client requirements, conduct site surveys, and recommend appropriate HVAC products or custom system solutions (e.g., chillers, AHUs, VRF/VRV systems, controls).
- Proposals & Bidding: Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, tender documents, and commercial quotations.
- Presentations & Demos: Deliver product demonstrations, technical talks, and close sales negotiations to meet or exceed monthly and annual quotas.
- Project Handover: Coordinate with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery and post-sale customer support.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 2–5+ years of experience in HVAC technical sales or project engineering.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of HVAC design principles, building codes,



psychrometrics, and load calculations.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and client-relationship management skills.
- Tools: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and basic drafting/sizing tools (CAD/BIM is a plus).
- Sales Engineer Qualifications / Skills:
- Problem solving

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

- B tech/M tech in mechanical engineering with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred
- 3 to 5 years of industry sales experience
