We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and proficient German Language Teacher to introduce students to the German language and culture through interactive, engaging, and activity-based teaching. The candidate should be capable of developing students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while fostering confidence in communication and an appreciation of global cultures.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach German language to students using age-appropriate, interactive, and learner-centred methodologies.
- Develop students’ proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, teaching-learning materials, and assessments.
- Integrate games, role-plays, dialogues, songs, storytelling, projects, and digital resources into classroom teaching.
- Introduce students to German culture, traditions, geography, festivals, and everyday communication.
- Plan and conduct formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and additional support to students who require assistance.
- Maintain lesson plans, attendance records, assessment records, and other academic documentation.
- Participate in academic meetings,



teacher training programmes, school events, and parent-teacher interactions as required.
- Collaborate with the academic coordinator and other teachers to ensure effective curriculum implementation.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create an inclusive, engaging, and positive learning environment.
- Encourage students to participate in language activities, competitions, presentations, and cultural events.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in German or a relevant language-related discipline; a recognized German language qualification may be considered depending on experience and institutional requirements.
- Proficiency in German, preferably at B2 level or above under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
- A recognized German language certification such as Goethe-Zertifikat, where applicable, will be an advantage.
- B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification preferred.

Experience

- Prior experience teaching German in a school, preferably in a CBSE or equivalent educational environment.
- Experience teaching school-age learners and preparing structured lesson plans and assessments will be preferred.
- Freshers with solid German proficiency, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching may also apply.
