Role Description The Russian Language Interpreter role at Sujog Careers is a full time, on-site position based in India. In this role, the interpreter will provide accurate and culturally appropriate interpretation between Russian and English (and/or local Indian languages, as required) in meetings, interviews, and daily business communications. Responsibilities may include interpreting during live conversations and calls, translating written documents and emails, and supporting clients in understanding Russian-language materials. The interpreter will help ensure clear communication between Russian-speaking individuals and local teams, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to professional ethics.



The role may also involve preparing glossaries, maintaining language quality standards, and coordinating with other staff to support smooth interactions with Russian-speaking stakeholders.
Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Russian and English, including excellent listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Demonstrated experience in interpretation and/or translation, preferably in business, technical, or professional settings.
- Ability to convey meaning accurately, maintain tone and intent, and adapt language for different audiences.
- Solid understanding of Russian and Indian cultural nuances to ensure contextually appropriate communication.
- Attention to detail, strong concentration skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced, live communication environments.
- Professional demeanor, respect for confidentiality, and adherence to ethical standards in interpreting.
- Comfort working on-site in India and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Bachelor's degree in languages, translation, interpretation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience working with international clients or in a cross-cultural environment is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with basic office software and communication tools used for meetings, calls, and document handling.
