Job Description

- Lead discovery workshops with finance, accounting, operations, and executive stakeholders to identify reporting needs, data gaps, and priorities.
- Translate business requirements into approved measures, reporting dimensions, canonical data models, source mappings, and acceptance criteria.
- Define financial structures such as legal entities, chart of accounts, cost centers, products, suppliers, and fiscal periods, according to the agreed scope.
- Establish data ownership, stewardship, business definitions, and a practical process for approving changes.
- Design Snowflake data layers for ingestion, standardization, and curated financial reporting, including history, lineage, reconciliation, security, and performance considerations.
- Define integration patterns across financial applications, planning systems, enterprise SaaS applications, and external logistics partners.
- Specify feed contracts,



refresh requirements, validation rules, safe replay, and exception handling.
- Use SQL and Python to profile source data, test mappings, validate reconciliations, and develop representative integration or transformation prototypes.
- Design role-based privileges, row-level restrictions, and sensitive-field controls with security stakeholders.
- Present architecture options and tradeoffs to business leaders, secure decisions, and document implementation-ready requirements.
- Develop a phased backlog and roadmap; review engineering designs and implementations against approved standards.
- Coordinate with finance, security, and operations on testing, acceptance, and production readiness.
