Job Summary
Zypp Electric is looking for a skilled and responsible Service Technician to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electric scooters and other EV components. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring vehicles remain safe, reliable, and ready for daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inspect and diagnose technical issues in electric scooters and EVs.
2. Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
3. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
4. Check batteries, motors, controllers, wiring, brakes, and other components.
5. Identify faults using diagnostic tools and perform necessary repairs.
6. Maintain service records and update repair reports.
7. Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and meet safety standards.
8.
Coordinate with the operations team to minimize vehicle downtime.
9. Follow workshop safety procedures and proper tool-handling practices.
Eligibility & Skills Required
1. Minimum 1 year of experience in two-wheeler or automobile servicing preferred.
2. ITI or Diploma in Automobile, Electrical, or Mechanical field preferred.
3. Basic knowledge of EV batteries, motors, controllers, wiring, and electrical systems.
4. Ability to identify faults and perform repairs independently.
5. Knowledge of WhatsApp and Google Forms for service updates.
6. Valuable problem-solving skills and a responsible attitude.
