Position Summary

The role is Responsible for managing the organization's direct and indirect tax compliance, tax planning, tax reporting, and regulatory requirements. The role ensures adherence to applicable tax laws, minimizes tax risks, optimizes tax positions, and supports business operations through effective tax advisory and governance. The incumbent liaises with tax authorities, auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely compliance and accurate tax reporting.

Essential Functions

- In depth Knowledge of the Direct and Indirect tax laws applicable in India
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST monthly and annually returns, Refund application process and 2A/2B Reconciliation
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of Tax audit, Transfer Pricing,



income tax returns and any other business related filings.
- Plan for and update overall return calendar and coordinate timing and inputs with team
- Maintain effective control procedures over, all aspects of the tax process.
- Manage and facilitate GST or income tax audits: preparing responses to various Notices, creating schedules, etc.
- Liaison with consultants in regards to any tax related matters
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the team and create strategies to capitalize on changes to tax legislation.
