Create and maintain 3D BIM models and drawings for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire-fighting systems on Gulf region projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Revit MEP models at LOD 300-400 from engineering markups and 2D drawings
- Run clash detection in Navisworks and coordinate with other disciplines
- Produce coordination/shop drawings, schedules and BOQs from the model
- Update models for design changes and prepare as-built models
- Follow BEP, ISO 19650 and project BIM standards, along with Gulf authority and client requirements
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
- 2-5 years of MEP BIM modeling experience
- Mandatory: prior experience on Gulf (GCC) projects (UAE, KSA, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait or Bahrain)
- Proficient in Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks
- Familiarity with Gulf codes and authority standards (NFPA, DEWA/SEC, ASHRAE, local municipality requirements)
- Positive understanding of MEP systems and drawing interpretation
