Key responsibilities
Daily accounting
• Handle end-to-end daily accounting: sales, purchases, expenses, journal entries and reconciliations
• Reconcile daily POS sales with the books and bank/card settlements
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date books across group entities Cash, bank and receivables
• Monitor daily bank balances and flag cash shortfalls early
• Prepare and update receivables and payables ageing daily
• Follow up on overdue collections and plan vendor payments
• Prepare weekly cash flow report and plan the funding accordingly. Statutory compliance (including filing)
• GST: computation, returns and reconciliations
• TDS: deduction, payment, returns and certificates
• PF and ESI: monthly contributions and returns
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants on statutory matters Reporting
• Prepare daily reports for the founders: sales, cash, bank and key payables/receivables
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet




• Support MIS and management reporting as the business grows Working with the founders
• Work closely with the founders as their day-to-day finance point of contact
• Raise issues and suggest process improvements proactively Requirements
• 5–10 years of accounting experience in the F&B; industry
• Experience in both the hospitality industry and a corporate environment
• Sound accounting knowledge, with a track record of handling the full accounting cycle independently
• Hands-on working knowledge of GST, TDS, PF and ESI, including return filing
• Experience preparing P&L;, Balance Sheet and daily management reports Advantages
• Qualification: CA Inter, CMA Inter, M.
Com or B.

• Experience with Zoho Books and restaurant POS systems
• Exposure to state VAT on liquor and excise compliance for bars and breweries
• Experience in a multi-outlet or multi-entity setup
