Key responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced leader to act as the regional functional lead for Group Treasury Liquidity & Funding Management and Forecasting in Pune. You will establish and lead our India capability as part of the global L&F; Management and Forecasting function and enable the delivery of an expanded service mandate across Group Treasury. In this role, you will:
- establish & own the regional scope & implementation of the L&F; central-services operating model, ensuring that services are scalable, controlled and fully integrated into the global mandate;
- build trusted relationships with the global L&F; functional leadership, regional Treasury teams, business divisions and key partner functions;
- lead complex analytical initiatives, translating regulatory, balance sheet and business developments into actionable insights for global stakeholders;
- build the capability to interpret complex developments, generate decision-relevant insights and develop practical solutions to ambiguous and rapid-changing management challenges;
- represent the Financial Resource Management & Planning (FRMP) function in senior governance and decision forums, clearly articulating trade-offs, risks and impacts. The team You will be part of Group Treasury Financial Resource Management & Planning and serve as the regional functional lead for the Liquidity & Funding Management and Forecasting capability in Pune. Group Treasury is responsible for the efficient management of the firm’s financial resources. Its mandate includes safeguarding the firm’s liquidity,



funding and capital positions above regulatory minimum requirements and within the risk appetite established by the Board of Directors. The L&F; Management and Forecasting function develops and runs forecasts across key liquidity and funding risk dimensions, identifies short-term volatility and structural trends, contributes to the Group Funding Plan and supports assessment against internal and external limits, early-warning indicators and targets. The India team will form an integral part of the global function deliver agreed services across regions while working closely with the global functional team towards overarching objectives. As regional functional lead, you will be accountable for connecting global functional targets with regional execution and for establishing a capable, sustainable and scalable presence in India. Your skills and experience
- Extensive experience in resource management, capital, liquidity or funding planning within a complex financial institution.
- Strong technical expertise across balance sheet dynamics, capital and liquidity metrics, capital ratios, Businesses and products.
- A deep understanding of regulatory and governance requirements impacting Treasury resource management.
- A proven track record of delivering high-impact solutions in environments with competing priorities and incomplete information.
- A decisive and accountable leader who takes ownership and drives problems to resolution.
- Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on engagement where required.
- Able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to senior, non-technical stakeholders.
