Position: Shift Incharge – Electrical

Location: Nellore, Andhra Pradesh

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Shift Incharge – Electrical to manage electrical operations, preventive and breakdown maintenance, and utility maintenance at our Nellore facility. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of electrical equipment, minimizing downtime, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating maintenance activities during the assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise and manage all electrical maintenance activities during the assigned shift.
2. Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of electrical equipment, machinery, and utility systems.
3. Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
4. Monitor and maintain electrical panels, motors, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, and other electrical equipment.
5. Handle utility maintenance activities related to industrial operations.
6. Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure minimum equipment downtime.
7. Coordinate with production, utility,



and mechanical maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
8. Maintain maintenance records, shift reports, and equipment history.
9. Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, LOTO practices, and plant safety standards.
10. Monitor energy consumption and support initiatives to improve electrical efficiency.
11. Supervise technicians and electricians, allocate work, and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
12. Identify recurring electrical problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Required Skills

1. Robust knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
2. Experience in utility maintenance and plant operations.
3. Knowledge of electrical motors, transformers, HT/LT panels, switchgear, MCCs, and VFDs.
4. Understanding of preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance procedures.
5. Knowledge of electrical safety standards and maintenance documentation.
6. Team handling, shift management, and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

1. Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
