Role Description The Independent Music Artist will create, perform, and record original music in collaboration with Sugreev Roman Music, contributing to projects that may span albums, singles, soundtracks, and cross-media campaigns. Day-to-day responsibilities include composing and arranging songs, rehearsing, working with producers and sound engineers, participating in studio recording sessions, and providing input on visual and promotional concepts related to releases. The role also involves occasional live performances, content creation for digital platforms, and close coordination with the publishing and media teams to align musical output with broader creative initiatives.



This is an on-site role, based in Uttarakhand, India, requiring regular presence at designated studio and rehearsal locations. The position is project-based and independent in nature, with scope for ongoing collaboration depending on performance and mutual agreement. Qualifications
• Strong skills in music composition, songwriting, and arrangement across one or more contemporary or traditional genres.
• Proficiency in vocal performance and/or instrumental performance, with the ability to adapt style to different projects.
• Experience with studio environments, including basic familiarity with recording processes, DAWs, and collaborative work with producers or sound engineers.
• Creative storytelling ability and openness to integrating music with publishing, visual media, and digital entertainment concepts.
• Professional work ethic, reliability in meeting creative deadlines, and willingness to participate in rehearsals, recordings, and live events on-site in Uttarakhand.
• Basic understanding of music distribution and digital platforms; comfort with social media and audience engagement is beneficial.
• Prior experience as a performing or recording artist, portfolio of released or demo material, and knowledge of the independent music ecosystem are preferred.
