• Extensive experience on commodities development (for e.g. Interior components like IP&CNSL;, Air vents, Ducts, Pillar Trims, Door Trims) current part design, on-going product development changes; digital pre-assembly.
• Extensive experience in developing CAD designs in CATIA, based on Engineering direction for commodities in above mentioned PMTs
• Facilitating Engineering review of the CAD using available collaborative tools such as Web-Ex, IM, emails etc.
• Understanding the geometric requirements within the context of the vehicle as defined by engineering requirements.
• Applying GD&T; for completed designs.
• Ensuring the quality of CAD meets CAD Design standards.
• Executing as well as checking the progress of the Designs, and suggest alternatives whenever required to make sure that the deliverables are met with the appropriate quality for each milestone of the Product Development process.
