Role Description The General Manager role is a full-time remote position responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission of privacy-first technology. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage key projects, and optimize processes to support product development, community engagement, and business growth. The General Manager will handle budget planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking, while fostering effective collaboration between leadership, staff, and contributors. Responsibilities include supporting strategic planning, implementing operational policies, managing partnerships,



and representing the organization in relevant business and community forums. The role requires proactive problem-solving, explicit communication, and consistent follow-through to maintain organizational efficiency in a distributed, international environment. Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in general management, operations leadership, or similar senior roles within technology or digital product organizations.
• Strong skills in strategic planning, project management, and process improvement to guide cross-functional teams and initiatives.
• Proficiency in budget management, financial oversight, and resource planning to support sustainable growth.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multicultural, remote setting.
• Understanding of privacy-focused technologies, open-source ecosystems, or mobile operating systems is highly beneficial.
• Comfort working in a fully remote, distributed environment, with strong self-organization and time management capabilities.
• Experience building and maintaining partnerships with external organizations, communities, or corporate clients.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
