The UiPath Automation Developer / Expert identifies, assesses, designs and delivers automation opportunities using UiPath and complementary AI capabilities. The role owns assigned automations end to end, from opportunity discovery and solution design through development, testing, deployment, production stabilization and handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with business, process and technology stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, understand pain points and define measurable outcomes.
- Conduct automation assessments covering process suitability, rule-based versus judgment-based activities, data availability and quality, exception patterns, application landscape, security, controls, dependencies, effort and delivery risk.
- Design the target automation based on assessment findings, including process flows, exception handling, queue strategy, human-in-the-loop steps, AI components, integrations, logging, auditability and operational support.
- Develop robust and reusable UiPath solutions using appropriate workflows, libraries, assets, queues, orchestration and configuration practices.
- Integrate automations with desktop and web applications, APIs, databases, files, email, ERP or other enterprise systems as required.
- Plan and execute developer testing, system/integration testing and regression testing; diagnose defects, complete bug fixes and maintain traceability through closure.
- Support UAT preparation and execution, resolve feedback, manage release readiness and coordinate production deployment.
- Provide hypercare after go-live, monitor stability and performance, resolve incidents,



document known issues and transition the solution to the support team.
- Maintain solution documentation, coding standards, version control and technical handover materials across the delivery lifecycle.
- Communicate progress, risks, dependencies and decisions clearly to project leadership, business owners and client stakeholders.

UiPath development

Expert capability in UiPath Studio and production-grade workflow development; strong understanding of selectors, data manipulation, reusable components, exception handling, logging and debugging.

Orchestration and operations

Practical experience with UiPath Orchestrator, packages, assets, queues, triggers, robot execution, monitoring and operational troubleshooting.

Automation analysis and design

Ability to assess candidate processes, define the automation boundary, estimate complexity, document requirements and produce scalable solution designs.

Integration

Experience integrating automations with APIs, databases, files, email and enterprise applications; working knowledge of authentication and secure credential handling.

AI and GenAI

Working knowledge of AI/ML-enabled automation, document understanding, OCR, prompt-based GenAI use cases, grounding/validation, human review and responsible handling of generated outputs.

Quality engineering

Robust testing, defect management, root-cause analysis, code review, release and production-support practices.

Programming and data

Working knowledge of VB.NET or C#, SQL, JSON/XML and regular expressions; Python knowledge is an advantage.
