Braze Architect Role Overview

The Braze Architect serves as the overarching technical authority for the platform setup, workspace taxonomy, integration blueprint, and event-driven architecture. This role ensures the customer engagement platform is optimized for low-latency event processing, multi-market governance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

- Platform & Workspace Architecture: Architect the enterprise workspace hierarchy, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), API key permissions, and multi-region domain isolation.
- Data Schema & Integration Design: Define custom attributes, custom event schemas, user aliasing strategies, and external identifier mapping models to support millions of customer profiles.
- Interface Control & API Contracts: Author Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs) for inbound streaming and outbound event pipelines.
- Egress & Analytics Pipeline Design: Architect real-time event streaming via Braze Currents into enterprise cloud lakehouses (e.g., Azure Synapse / Snowflake).
- Technical Governance & Compliance:



Ensure platform setup strictly adheres to data privacy standards (GDPR, regional telecom regulations) and global delivery rate limits.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 10 14+ years in enterprise MarTech architecture, with 4+ years specializing directly in Braze enterprise-scale implementations.
- Certifications: Braze Certified Administrator, Braze Certified Marketer, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON schemas, Cloud Data Ingestion (CDI), Braze Currents, and mobile/web SDK architectures.
- Ecosystem Acumen: Hands-on experience integrating marketing clouds with data lakes (Azure Synapse/Databricks), Kafka/Event Hubs, and Content Management Systems.
