Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled DCDP Bakery to support daily bakery production and ensure the consistent quality, taste, texture, and presentation of bakery products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing a variety of baked goods, operating commercial bakery equipment, and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare cakes, pastries, breads, cookies, muffins, sourdough, and other bakery products according to established recipes and standards.

- Perform weighing, mixing, baking, assembling, filling, icing, decorating, and finishing of bakery products.

- Maintain consistency in product quality, taste, texture, size, and presentation.

- Operate and monitor bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers.

- Monitor baking temperatures, timings, and product quality throughout the production process.

- Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards.

- Minimise ingredient wastage and ensure the effective use of raw materials.





- Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of ingredients, tools, and equipment.

- Guide and support Commis Chefs and junior bakery staff in daily operations.

- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and bakery production processes.

- Hands-on expertise in preparing cakes, pastries, breads, cookies, and related bakery products.

- Ability to operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently.

- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.

- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent product quality.

- Ability to work effectively in a team and support junior staff.

Educational Qualification

A diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Bakery and Confectionery, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred. Relevant practical experience may also be considered.

Experience Requirements

- 4 5 years of relevant experience in bakery production.

- Experience in hotels, restaurants, caf s, bakeries, confectionery brands, or central kitchens is preferred.
