Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Logistics Coordinator with mandatory aviation-industry experience to manage logistics operations, shipment coordination, freight quotations, import/export documentation and aircraft material movements.

The ideal candidate should have experience in airline logistics, aviation cargo, aircraft spare parts or MRO supply-chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate end-to-end logistics and shipment execution for aviation materials and aircraft spare parts.

- Manage RFQs (Request for Quotations), obtain freight quotations, compare vendor rates and coordinate quotation submissions.

- Monitor freight costs, shipment expenses, quotation accuracy and cost-control measures.

- Coordinate with airlines, MRO organisations, freight forwarders, vendors and customs brokers.

- Manage import/export documentation and ensure compliance with applicable customs and trade regulations.

- Apply Incoterms 2020 and maintain accurate shipment and commercial documentation.

- Track orders, shipments, delivery schedules, pending backlogs and escalations.





- Coordinate urgent aircraft spare-parts movements and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments, where applicable.

- Monitor logistics KPIs, including on-time delivery, order accuracy, shipment status and quotation turnaround.

- Maintain accurate records using ERP, TMS or WMS platforms.

- Prepare MIS reports and coordinate with internal teams to resolve operational issues.

- Support team coordination, process improvements and timely execution of logistics activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- 5 8 years of relevant logistics, freight-forwarding

- Preferred Experience
- Aircraft spare-parts and aviation material management.

- MRO logistics and airline supply-chain operations.

- Air cargo, international freight forwarding and customs coordination.

- AOG shipments and time-critical aircraft component deliveries.

- - At least 2 years of senior-level, team-lead or supervisory experience.

- Practical knowledge of RFQs, freight quotations, rate negotiation and freight costing.

- Understanding of customs procedures, import/export documentation and Incoterms 2020.

- Experience with ERP/TMS/WMS systems and strong Excel/MIS reporting skills.

- Positive communication, coordination, problem-solving and escalation-management skills.
