RecruitOwl (recruitowl.in) is an early-stage SaaS startup building recruitment software for recruiters and recruitment agencies in India. Recruiters share one role link, candidates fill a 2-minute form, and RecruitOwl scores each candidate with clear reasons and books calls in the recruiter's free hours.

About the role

We're looking for a Growth & User Acquisition Intern to bring RecruitOwl its first paying users, working directly with the founder.

Most of this role is direct sales. You will identify recruiters, reach out to them one by one, run product demos, follow up, and convert interested recruiters into paying users. It is not a content, social media or brand marketing role.

What you'll do

1. Identify independent recruiters, freelance recruiters and recruitment agencies across India

2. Build and maintain a prospect list using LinkedIn and other platforms

3. Reach out through LinkedIn, email, calls and other approved channels

4. Schedule and run online product demos

5. Follow up with interested recruiters and convert them into paying users

6. Help new users set up their first job role

7. Track outreach, replies, demos, sign-ups and conversions

What we're looking for

1. Strong spoken and written communication

2. Genuine interest in sales: comfortable reaching out to strangers, handling objections and following up

3. Self-driven, able to work independently

4. Comfortable with LinkedIn, Google Sheets and Google Meet

5. Freshers welcome; prior sales or lead generation experience is a plus

Compensation

This role offers performance-based incentives for successfully onboarding users to RecruitOwl. Incentive criteria and payout terms will be clearly explained before joining.

Please note that this prospect currently does not include a fixed monthly stipend during the initial period of up to 3 months as we work towards generating revenue.
