We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant with strong hands-on expertise in US Taxation, accounting, and compilation engagements. The ideal candidate should have practical experience handling US tax compliance assignments, reviewing financial information, and managing client deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review US individual and business tax returns.
- Handle US tax compliance and accounting assignments.
- Work on compilation engagements and financial statement preparation or review.
- Use CaseWare for accounting, financial reporting, and compilation-related work.
- Review deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable requirements.
- Coordinate with clients and manage deadlines effectively.
- Guide junior team members and review their work.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 7+ years of overall professional experience,
including at least 5 years of hands-on US Taxation experience.
- Strong knowledge of US federal tax compliance for individuals and businesses.
- Practical experience with US tax forms such as Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S, as relevant to prior assignments.
- Hands-on experience with CaseWare.
- Experience handling compilation engagements.
- Team leadership, work-review, and mentoring experience.
- Excellent communication and client-coordination skills.
- Comfortable working in US time zones.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with international clients or US-based accounting firms.
- Experience in a product-based company or accounting technology environment.
