We are looking for an experienced Senior Odoo Functional Consultant who can independently manage end-to-end Odoo ERP implementations, with particular expertise in Finance & Accounting and Indian business processes. Job OverviewThe Senior Odoo Functional Consultant will be responsible for understanding client requirements, analyzing business processes, designing ERP solutions, configuring Odoo modules, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring successful project delivery from requirement gathering through go-live and post-implementation support. The ideal candidate must have strong functional knowledge of Odoo Finance & Accounting, practical experience with Indian accounting and GST requirements, and a proven track record of delivering complete Odoo ERP implementations.

Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Odoo ERP Implementation
• Lead complete Odoo ERP implementation projects, from requirement gathering and business analysis to deployment and go-live.
• Conduct client meetings, business process assessments, and requirement workshops.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and process flow documentation.
• Perform gap analysis and recommend suitable Odoo solutions aligned with client requirements.
• Configure Odoo modules, workflows, access rights, and business processes.
• Manage UAT, data migration, user training, go-live, and post-implementation support.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and quality standards. 2. Finance & Accounting — Mandatory Expertise
• Demonstrate strong functional command over Odoo Finance & Accounting.
• Configure charts of accounts, journals, taxes, fiscal positions, payment terms, and accounting workflows.
• Implement Indian accounting practices, GST configurations, and applicable tax reporting processes.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable,



bank reconciliation, payment processing, and financial reporting.
• Understand general ledger, trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
• Configure and validate accounting entries generated by sales, purchases, inventory, and other operational transactions.
• Support financial year-end processes, opening balances, accounting data migration, and reconciliation.
• Troubleshoot accounting discrepancies and ensure accurate financial postings across modules. 3. Indian Business Process Expertise
• Understand Indian business operations and statutory accounting requirements.
• Work with GST-related business processes, including applicable tax configurations and reporting requirements.
• Understand HSN/SAC, GST tax treatment, e-invoicing, and e-way bill workflows where applicable.
• Implement and validate integrated business processes across finance, sales, purchase, inventory, and manufacturing. 4. Client Management & Functional Consulting
• Act as the primary functional contact for assigned clients.
• Translate business requirements into practical Odoo solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain proposed workflows to stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations, resolve functional issues, and communicate project progress.
• Provide functional guidance and support to users after implementation. 5. Technical Team Coordination
• Work closely with Odoo developers to communicate customization requirements.
• Prepare functional specifications and validate developed features.
• Coordinate testing, defect resolution, and release validation.
• Distinguish between standard Odoo functionality, configuration requirements, and custom development. 6. Project Delivery & Documentation
• Prepare implementation plans, milestones, and project documentation.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and escalate delivery challenges.
• Maintain implementation checklists, issue logs, and user documentation.
• Ensure proper knowledge transfer and successful project handover.



Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5–6+ years of relevant experience in Odoo ERP functional consulting and implementation.
• Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering end-to-end Odoo implementations, preferably across multiple Indian businesses.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Odoo Finance & Accounting is mandatory.
• Good understanding of Indian accounting practices, GST, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of Odoo Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Manufacturing modules.
• Experience in requirement gathering, business analysis, functional configuration, UAT, migration, training, and go-live.
• Ability to independently manage client engagements and implementation deliverables.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work from our Noida office. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in overseas Odoo implementations, particularly in the UAE, Singapore, or other international markets.
• Exposure to multi-company, multi-currency, and multi-country accounting configurations.
• Experience in manufacturing, trading, distribution, or other process-driven industries.
• Familiarity with Odoo integrations and coordination of custom development.
• Experience mentoring junior consultants and guiding implementation teams. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Performance will be evaluated based on:
