- DNB Anesthesia / DA (Diploma in Anesthesiology) / MD Anaesthesiology
JOB DESCRIPTION

Key responsibilities
• Provide secure anaesthesia for neurosurgical, trauma, orthopaedic and general surgical cases
• Conduct pre-anaesthetic evaluation and optimise patients for surgery, including high-risk and emergency cases
• Manage neuroanaesthesia considerations (raised ICP, controlled ventilation, haemodynamic stability)
• Handle emergency airway management and resuscitation across OT, ICU and casualty
• Provide post-operative and critical care support, including ventilator management
• Administer regional anaesthesia and pain management where indicated
• Maintain accurate anaesthesia records and follow safety and medico-legal protocols
• Work closely with neurosurgeons, trauma surgeons and intensivists
Requirements:
• MD / DNB / DA in Anaesthesiology with valid medical council registration
• Comfortable with emergency and trauma anaesthesia in a 24/7 setup
• Neuroanaesthesia or critical care experience preferred but not essential
• Both experienced consultants and recent postgraduates are welcome to apply
