OpenShift, Dynatrace Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Engineer with hands-on expertise in Oracle Database, MongoDB, and Redis administration. The candidate will be responsible for database monitoring, performance tuning, backup and recovery, high availability, security, capacity planning, and production troubleshooting. Knowledge of OpenShift and Dynatrace will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
1. Oracle Database Administration
• Monitor database health, availability, and performance using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Perform SQL query optimization and analyze execution plans, AWR, and ASH reports.
• Troubleshoot database performance issues and support production incidents.
• Understand DDL, DML, and DCL commands, database schemas, and database protection and synchronization status. 2. MongoDB Administration
• Manage MongoDB installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Configure and troubleshoot replica sets, sharding,



and high-availability environments.
• Perform backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and security management.
• Optimize queries and indexes; use diagnostic tools such as mongostat, mongotop, and explain().
• Monitor cluster health, replication status, and resource utilization. 3. Redis Administration
• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain Redis instances.
• Manage Redis replication, Sentinel, Cluster, persistence, backup, and failover.
• Monitor memory utilization, latency, connections, and cache performance.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues, slow commands, key eviction, and application session expiry.
• Perform security configuration, upgrades, capacity planning, and performance tuning. 4. Secondary Skills – OpenShift & Dynatrace
• Monitor OpenShift pods, deployments, namespaces, services, routes, and cluster resources.
• Troubleshoot pod failures, connectivity issues, and deployment problems.
• Use Dynatrace to monitor application and database performance, analyze alerts, identify bottlenecks, and support root cause analysis (RCA). Required Skills
• Strong database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery procedures.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix commands and basic shell scripting.
• Experience in production support, incident and change management, and RCA documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with application, infrastructure, and operations teams.
• Hands-on experience supporting business-critical applications in production environments. Preferred Experience
• Experience administering Oracle Database, MongoDB, and Redis in enterprise environments.
• Exposure to database performance monitoring and optimization tools.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT operations and 24×7 production support, as required.
• Knowledge of OpenShift and Dynatrace is an advantage.
