Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Kotlin Developer based in the Pune Division. The Senior Kotlin Developer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Kotlin, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that support Parseq’s business and IT services. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, implementing clean and testable code, conducting code reviews, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.



The role also involves integrating with third-party systems, optimizing existing services, contributing to architectural decisions, and ensuring adherence to best practices in software development and object-oriented programming. In addition, the Senior Kotlin Developer will mentor team members, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and support deployment and monitoring activities in production environments. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software architecture principles.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with hands-on experience building and maintaining production-grade services.
• Advanced Programming skills with expert-level knowledge of Kotlin and solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern backend frameworks; familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), unit and integration testing, and secure coding practices.
• Ability to work in an in office, collaborative environment, communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
• Previous experience in a senior or lead developer role and exposure to enterprise systems or financial/transaction processing is an advantage.
