Relevant experience in SQL, Python, and GCP-based data operations Job Summary We are looking for a technically skilled skilled with hands-on experience in SQL querying, Python, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support data-related applications and troubleshoot data pipeline issues. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of ETL workflows, incident management, and log analysis, along with the flexibility to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Write and execute SQL queries to investigate, validate, and troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Work with GCP services, including BigQuery, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.
• Use Python to assist in troubleshooting Dataflow issues and understanding Airflow failures and logs.
• Analyse data pipeline failures and support the resolution of operational incidents.
• Understand ETL workflows and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data-related applications.
• Investigate incidents, identify potential root causes, and follow established troubleshooting procedures.
• Manage and track incidents using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, preferably ServiceNow.




• Follow operational procedures and support timely incident resolution in accordance with service requirements. Mandatory Skills
• Hands-on SQL querying: Strong understanding of SQL fundamentals, including filtering, joins, LEFT JOIN with NULL handling, UNION, and analytical/problem-solving queries.
• Python: Ability to use Python for troubleshooting data processing issues and analysing logs.
• GCP: Practical experience with BigQuery, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.
• ETL fundamentals: Basic understanding of ETL workflows and data processing pipelines.
• Incident management: Understanding of IT service engineering scenarios and incident handling.
• Shift flexibility: Willingness and ability to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment, including night shifts. Good to Have
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
• Exposure to Apache Airflow and Google Cloud Dataflow troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting production data applications and resolving data pipeline incidents. Ideal Candidate Profile A hands-on professional who combines SQL problem-solving skills with Python and GCP knowledge, understands data pipeline operations, and can work effectively in a shift-based production support environment. Important: Hands-on SQL, Python, GCP experience, and willingness to work night shifts are mandatory.
