Data Migration Lead Location Pune, Maharashtra, India Work Arrangement Hybrid, with a preference for candidates who can work from the Pune office at least 2–3 days per week Experience 7–10 years Role Overview The Data Migration Lead owns the technical migration approach and execution across the Data Migration Engineer team. Working within governance rules established by the onshore team, this role coordinates cleansing and deduplication methodology, migration-wave sequencing, and reconciliation accuracy. The lead reviews and signs off on migration work before it moves to QA and serves as the technical contact for migration-specific matters raised by the client’s Data Governance Lead.

Key Responsibilities
• Own the technical approach and execution of data migration across the Data Migration Engineer team.
• Define data-cleansing and deduplication methodology in accordance with governance rules established by the onshore team.
• Plan and sequence migration waves to support controlled and accurate migration execution.
• Oversee reconciliation activities and ensure accuracy at scale.




• Review and sign off on migration engineers’ deliverables before submission to QA.
• Act as the technical point of contact for migration-specific issues raised by the client’s Data Governance Lead.
• Manage and coordinate a team of migration engineers, supporting delivery across the migration lifecycle. Required Skills and Experience
• 7–10 years of experience in data migration and/or Master Data Management (MDM).
• Experience with at least one large-scale pharmaceutical master data migration.
• Solid people-management experience, including running teams of approximately 8–15 engineers.
• Ability to oversee data cleansing, deduplication, migration sequencing, and reconciliation. Work Location and Arrangement This role is based in Pune, Maharashtra, with a hybrid working arrangement. Pune is the first preference, and candidates should be able to attend the office at least 2–3 days per week as required.
