Head of Search & Community Growth We’re hiring one person to own how LocoTrails gets discovered online, across Google, AI search, Reddit and Google Maps. It’s fully remote and full ownership. The story / hook angle
• We’ve grown almost entirely through word of mouth: 400+ custom trips a year across 60+ destinations.
• The way people find things has changed. They ask ChatGPT, search Reddit and check Google Maps before they ever call anyone.
• We want to show up in all of those places, and we need someone to lead that. What the role is
• Owns the entire domain, with no layers in between and a direct line to Prithvi
• Own SEO and GEO strategy, so we rank on Google and get cited by AI tools
• Build a genuine Reddit presence by answering threads, starting conversations and being helpful rather than salesy
• Turn those conversations into content briefs and lead the writing team (60–80 blogs a month)
• Optimise the website and grow our Google Business Profile
• Track what’s working and own the results Who we want
• Someone who has actually grown traffic or rankings and can show the numbers
• Understands AI search, not just old-school SEO
• Gets Reddit culture
• Has led writers
• Loves travel
