Role Description The Bioinformatics Scientist (Basic Python Coding – 20 LPA) will work full time in office in Pune City. This role involves applying bioinformatics and statistical methods to analyze data related to product quality, ingredients, and potential biological markers. The scientist will perform routine data processing, basic Python scripting, and documentation of analytical workflows, while collaborating with cross-functional teams such as R&D; and quality assurance. Daily tasks include designing and conducting research studies, interpreting sequencing or related biological data where applicable, generating reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders. The role may also involve supporting process optimization and contributing to evidence-based improvements in Organo Mart’s organic product portfolio. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Analysis and Statistics to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.




• Candidates should possess skills in DNA Sequencing and Sequencing techniques to understand and analyze biological data when required.
• Candidates should possess solid Research skills to design studies, validate hypotheses, and document methods and results systematically.
• Basic to intermediate Python programming skills, including data manipulation (e.g., pandas, NumPy) and scripting for routine analysis tasks.
• Understanding of bioinformatics concepts, biological data formats, and common analysis pipelines is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related quantitative field.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, communicate findings clearly, and maintain accurate records of analyses.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to learn domain-specific knowledge related to organic products and food science.
