Role Description This full-time remote Cyber Security Architect role focuses on designing and implementing secure architectures for applications, networks, and enterprise environments. Responsibilities include developing and reviewing security architecture and design documents, performing threat modeling and risk assessments, and defining security requirements for new and existing systems. The role involves collaborating with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to integrate security controls into software development, cloud platforms, and on-premises infrastructure. The Cyber Security Architect will evaluate security tools and technologies,



guide security best practices, and support compliance with relevant standards and regulatory frameworks. Ongoing tasks include monitoring emerging threats, recommending improvements, and contributing to security roadmaps and policies. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Security Architecture Design, including enterprise security frameworks and secure infrastructure design.
• Application Security, including secure coding practices, threat modeling, and code or design review.
• Cybersecurity skills, including vulnerability management, incident response collaboration, and security risk assessment.
• Network Security, including segmentation, firewall and VPN configuration, and intrusion detection/prevention.
• Skills in Information Security, including policy development, governance, compliance, and data protection controls.
• Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), zero trust principles, and security automation is highly beneficial.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or SABSA/TOGAF are preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly, work effectively in distributed teams, and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
