We're looking for a GRE Tutor who can help students prepare effectively for the GRE through structured lessons, personalised strategies, and targeted practice. Role Overview As a GRE Tutor at EdSteps, you will work with students preparing for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), helping them strengthen their skills, improve their test-taking strategies, and build confidence ahead of the exam.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct engaging, structured GRE preparation sessions covering Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Analytical Writing, as applicable to the student's requirements.
• Assess students' current proficiency and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop personalised study plans based on students' goals, timelines, and target scores.
• Teach problem-solving techniques,
time management, and effective test-taking strategies.
• Provide practice questions, assignments, mock tests, and constructive feedback.
• Track student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Maintain explicit communication with students and the EdSteps team regarding progress and session requirements. Requirements
• Strong command of GRE concepts, exam format, and preparation strategies.
• Previous GRE tutoring or test-preparation teaching experience.
• Excellent communication and explanation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and adapt to different learning styles.
• Reliable internet connection and availability for online sessions.
• A strong GRE score is preferred, but demonstrated teaching ability and subject expertise are essential. Engagement
• Remote, one-on-one tutoring.
• Flexible scheduling based on student availability.
• Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and engagement.
