Role Description The Admissions Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. This role involves guiding prospective students through program options, eligibility criteria, and admission processes for international and domestic educational institutions. The Admissions Counsellor will conduct one-on-one counselling sessions, respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, and maintain accurate records of student interactions and application status. The role includes coordinating with internal teams and partner institutions, supporting document collection and verification, and participating in events, seminars, and outreach activities to promote the consultancy’s services.



The Admissions Counsellor will also follow up with leads, provide timely updates, and ensure a qualified, supportive experience for every applicant. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to effectively counsel and support prospective students and families.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships with applicants.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert leads into admissions, explain service offerings, and meet enrollment targets ethically and transparently.
• Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, ideally with familiarity across fields such as nursing, IT, engineering, medicine, healthcare, and commerce.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail in handling documentation and application processes.
• Proficiency in using basic computer applications, CRM tools, and online communication platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in education, counselling, management, or related fields.
• Prior experience in admissions, student counselling, or education consulting is an advantage.
