Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai, with an expected joining date within 7 days. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, preparing vouchers, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities include bank reconciliations, support in monthly closing, and preparation of basic financial reports and summaries. The role may involve coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate and timely documentation for logistics-related billing, invoicing, and compliance. The Accountant will also support audits, maintain organized records, and follow company policies and statutory requirements. Qualifications




• Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including ledger management, journal entry posting, bank reconciliation, and familiarity with accounts payable/receivable.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including basic formulas, data entry, and report preparation.
• Candidates should possess solid understanding of Indian taxation and compliance (GST, TDS, basic statutory reporting) and be able to support audit and documentation requirements.
• Candidates should possess good analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills, professional conduct, and the ability to work collaboratively in an in office team environment.

Com, M.
Com, or equivalent in Accounting/Finance; prior experience in logistics or freight forwarding accounts is an advantage.
