About the Role
The Product Development Engineer supports the development, testing, and improvement of building materials and construction products to meet customer needs, technical specifications, and applicable industry standards. The role focuses on evaluating materials, supporting new product trials, improving product specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and commercially viable product solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Support new product development initiatives, including product concept evaluation, material selection, and technical feasibility assessments.
• Conduct or coordinate product trials, prototype evaluations, and performance testing to assess product functionality and suitability.
• Develop and improve product specifications, technical documentation, and product performance requirements.
• Evaluate alternative raw materials, product formulations, and technical solutions to enhance product performance, sustainability, and cost competitiveness.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams to support product trials, testing,



and new product introduction.
• Analyze product testing results, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend technical adjustments to meet product requirements.
• Support the development and improvement of AAC blocks, wall panels, and other building material solutions, as applicable.
• Coordinate with Sales, Technical Service, and relevant stakeholders to understand customer requirements and translate market needs into product development opportunities.
• Monitor relevant product technologies, construction material innovations, and industry standards to support continuous product improvement.
• Prepare product development reports, trial results, technical evaluations, and project documentation. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in product development, materials engineering, product testing, or related fields; new graduates are welcome.
• Basic understanding of construction materials, material properties, and product development processes.
• Familiarity with material testing, product specifications, or engineering evaluation methods is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical learning skills.
• Ability to interpret technical information, analyze test results, and prepare engineering documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, innovative, and eager to learn, with a solid interest in sustainable materials and product development.
