Experience:
5–8 Years Role Summary We are looking for a Senior Automation Developer with strong experience in Python automation, RDK-B, Wi-Fi, and Cable Modem/Broadband CPE. The role will focus on developing and executing automation for broadband gateway validation.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Python-based automation for RDK-B broadband devices.
• Automate Wi-Fi, Cable Modem, and RDK-B functional and regression testing.
• Develop automation for provisioning, firmware upgrades, networking, and device management.
• Enhance existing automation frameworks such as Boardfarm or similar frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Debug failures using device logs, CLI, Wireshark, and tcpdump.
• Support defect triage, release validation,
and root cause analysis.
• Work with development and DevOps teams to improve automation coverage. Mandatory Skills
• 5–8 years of QA/automation experience.
• Solid Python automation experience, preferably Pytest.
• Hands-on experience with RDK-B and USP.
• Experience with Cable Modem / Broadband CPE testing.
• Good knowledge of Wi-Fi, preferably Wi-Fi 6/7.
• Experience with provisioning and firmware validation.
• Good networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, IPv4/IPv6.
• Strong Linux and debugging skills. Preferred Skills
• Boardfarm automation experience.
• CI/CD and DevOps exposure.
• Experience with iperf, Ixia, or Spirent.
