Role Description The Sr. Solar Ground Mounted Project Electrical Design Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Jaipur. This role involves leading electrical design engineering for ground-mounted solar projects, including system layout, single-line diagrams, cable sizing, protection schemes, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. The engineer will perform detailed PV system design and calculations, review site data, prepare technical drawings and documentation, and coordinate with civil, structural, and project management teams. Daily responsibilities include evaluating design alternatives, optimizing system performance and cost,



supporting tender and proposal activities with technical inputs, and reviewing vendor and contractor submissions. The role also includes providing technical guidance to junior engineers, ensuring quality control of design deliverables, and supporting commissioning and resolution of design-related issues during construction. Qualifications
• Strong understanding of the Solar Industry and experience with Solar Power project execution, particularly ground-mounted installations.
• Hands-on experience with Solar Systems design and integration, including system configuration and performance analysis.
• Proficiency in PV Design for utility-scale or large commercial projects, including layout optimization and energy yield assessments.
• Advanced Electrical Design skills, including load flow, cable sizing, protection coordination, and compliance with IEC/IS or equivalent standards.
• Relevant engineering degree (e.g., B.
E./B.
Tech in Electrical, Renewable Energy, or related discipline) and several years of solar project design experience.
• Ability to use industry-standard design and simulation tools (such as PV design software and electrical CAD), with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated project coordination skills, including cross-functional collaboration, documentation management, and adherence to schedules and quality requirements.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
