Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and technically proficient Buggy Pilot to operate specialized camera-mounted buggy systems for live sports broadcasting and professional productions. The ideal candidate should have excellent control over mobile camera platforms, strong technical troubleshooting abilities, and the capability to execute smooth, precise movements during fast-paced sporting events.

Key Responsibilities




• Operate remote-controlled or motorized camera buggy systems during live sporting events and broadcast productions.
• Execute smooth, accurate, and controlled buggy movements to capture agile sports action.
• Coordinate with cinematographers, camera operators, broadcast directors, and production teams.
• Plan buggy movement paths based on production requirements, venue layouts, and safety considerations.
• Set up, configure, calibrate, and test buggy systems before live events.
• Monitor buggy performance, including motor controls, battery systems, wireless connectivity, and movement stability.
• Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment functionality.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to buggy movement, control systems, motors, and communication equipment.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, transportation, installation, and dismantling at event venues.
• Follow operational safety procedures to ensure the safety of athletes, crew members, and spectators.
• Maintain operational logs, equipment checklists, and maintenance records.
• Travel to various locations across India and internationally, as required. Required Skills & Qualifications




• 2–5 years of relevant experience operating camera buggies, robotic platforms, RC vehicles, or similar motorized systems.
• Strong understanding of remote-controlled vehicle operations and movement control.
• Knowledge of motors, batteries, controllers, wireless systems, and basic electronics.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and precision control.
• Ability to execute smooth movements in rapid-paced live production environments.
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong understanding of operational safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and travel extensively. Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience operating camera buggies during cricket, football, or other live sporting events.
• Experience with robotic camera platforms, motorized tracking systems, or specialized broadcast equipment.
• Knowledge of RF communication systems and remote-control technologies.
• Basic understanding of broadcast camera equipment and stabilization systems.
• Experience working in stadiums and large-scale live production environments.
