Location Mumbai / Bangalore Employment Type Contract Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICA (Financial Contract Accounting) Consultant to join our enterprise IT team. The ideal candidate will have around 10 years of overall IT/SAP experience, with a robust core specialization of 5 to 7 years in SAP FICA. A primary focus for this role is leading and executing end-to-end implementation and ECC to S/4HANA migration/conversion projects. You will play a crucial role in functional blueprinting, system configuration, data migration, and integration across related SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities
1. S/4HANA Migration and Conversion
• Execute functional stream activities for SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration, including Brownfield, Greenfield, or Selective Data Transition.
• Manage Business Partner (BP) conversion, data cleanup, contract account adjustments, and migration of open items/history into S/4HANA FICA.
• Perform impact analysis on existing FICA customizations and standard processes during S/4HANA upgrades/migrations. 2. Core FICA Configuration and Implementation
• Design, configure, and maintain core SAP FICA submodules, including Contract Partner, Contract Account setup, Posting and Documents, Payments, Payment Lot, Direct Debit, Dunning, Interest Calculation, Security Deposits, Returns Processing, Write-offs, and Account Balance Display.




• Configure and optimize General Ledger (FI/GL) integration, revenue posting, and reconciliation processes.
• Design and execute mass processing activities, including Payment Run, Dunning Run, and Mass Changes. 3. Integration and Solution Architecture
• Integrate SAP FICA seamlessly with adjacent modules/systems such as SAP SD, FICO, BRIM, SOM, and CC/CI.
• Collaborate with technical teams and ABAP developers to draft high-quality Functional Specifications (WRICEF) for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and workflows. 4. Project Execution and Stakeholder Management
• Conduct requirement-gathering workshops, fit-gap analyses, and present solution designs to key business stakeholders.
• Perform Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, cutover activities, and Hypercare support.
• Mentor functional team members and establish best practices for FICA operations. Qualifications and Requirements 1. Experience and Background

At least one full lifecycle project involving SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration/conversion is strongly preferred. 2. Technical and Functional Skills
• Deep expertise in FICA processes, including Master Data, BP/CA, Invoicing/Posting, Payment Handling, Electronic Bank Statements (EBS), Dunning, Interest, and GL Reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA FICA features, standard CDS views, and new General Ledger integration.
• Proven expertise in legacy data migration techniques, including LTM/C, Migrate Your Data app, LSMW, and BAPIs specific to FICA open items and master records.
• Strong understanding of industry-specific FICA implementations, such as Utilities, Telecom, Insurance, Public Sector, or Subscription Business Models. 3. Soft Skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Proven ability to work in Agile and Waterfall project methodologies. 4. Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
• SAP S/4HANA Certification in Financial Contract Accounting or S/4HANA Finance.
• Exposure to SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) and Convergent Invoicing.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications related to FICA Billing. Skills Mandatory
