Role Description The Student Wing – Chennai role is a volunteer opportunity focused on engaging students in local and national initiatives of Youth United Council of India. Day-to-day tasks may include coordinating student activities and events, promoting campaigns on campus and online, conducting outreach to colleges and student groups, and supporting community service or awareness projects in Chennai. The role involves collaborating with other volunteers, participating in meetings, sharing updates,



and contributing ideas for youth-oriented programs. This is a hybrid role based in Chennai, with a mix of in-person activities and tasks that can be completed from home, such as online communication, documentation, and social media support. Qualifications
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse student groups and stakeholders.
• Organizational and time-management abilities to plan events, manage tasks, and meet agreed deadlines.
• Interest in youth development, social impact, and community engagement, with a willingness to take initiative.
• Basic digital literacy, including familiarity with social media platforms, online collaboration tools, and document creation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and independently, in both in-person and remote settings.
• Current student or recent graduate in Chennai is preferred; prior experience in student clubs, NGOs, or volunteer activities is an advantage but not required.
