Role Description The Testing & Commissioning Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The engineer will perform electrical testing of equipment and systems in power plants and substations, ensuring installations meet technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and executing test plans, documenting test results, identifying issues, and coordinating with project and site teams to resolve technical problems. The role involves troubleshooting electrical faults, supporting commissioning activities from pre-commissioning checks through final handover,



and maintaining accurate records and reports. Collaboration with design, construction, and operations teams is essential to ensure reliable system performance and timely project completion. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Testing and Testing of power equipment and systems.
• Candidates should possess experience as Commissioning Engineers, including planning and executing commissioning activities.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and standards relevant to power generation and substations.
• Candidates should possess troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults and system issues.
• Candidates should have a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Candidates should be familiar with safety regulations, industry codes, and quality management practices (ISO standards preferred).
• Candidates should have good documentation and reporting skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Candidates should demonstrate effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to work on-site in industrial and utility environments.
