One of our clients, a leading Series C-funded AI startup, is looking for an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions for enterprise customers. This role combines hands-on software engineering, AI application development, solution architecture, and direct customer engagement to solve complex business problems and deliver measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct discovery sessions with enterprise customers to understand business challenges, workflows, and operational goals.
• Design solution architectures, integration plans, and implementation strategies for enterprise AI applications.
• Build and deploy AI agents and LLM-powered applications to automate workflows and retrieve relevant information.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and prompt strategies using customer data.
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines to integrate multiple enterprise systems.
• Design robust failure-handling mechanisms, including retries, queues, and human hand-offs.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Deploy solutions into production environments, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
• Own end-to-end customer delivery, manage priorities and scope, and ensure successful implementation.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, ML, Platform, and Customer Success teams.
• Track KPIs, measure business impact, and continuously improve deployed solutions. Required Skills

• Experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics. Ideal Candidate Profile
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, AI, or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proven experience building and deploying AI agents or LLM-based applications for enterprise customers.
• Experience in early-stage startups, founding-engineer roles, or technology/SaaS product companies.
• Strong client-facing delivery experience and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated expertise in scalable system design, distributed systems, and production-grade backend engineering.
