Role Description As a Social Media Manager at One8 Event, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing social media campaigns across platforms to support the company’s event and brand objectives. You will create and schedule content, optimize posts for engagement and reach, monitor performance metrics, and adjust strategies based on analytics. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to gather event insights, developing content calendars, responding to audience interactions, and maintaining a consistent brand voice. You will also support live coverage of events,



coordinate with designers and copywriters, and stay updated on social media trends relevant to the event management industry. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to plan and manage campaigns effectively.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills to create clear, engaging, and brand-aligned content.
• Candidates should possess skills in Content Strategy to develop content plans and calendars aligned with marketing and event objectives.
• Candidates should have familiarity with major social platforms, analytics tools, and basic knowledge of paid promotions.
• Candidates should demonstrate robust organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
• Candidates with experience in event management, corporate branding, or related industries will be preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is beneficial.
