Role Description The In House Attorney – Night Shift / US Process is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves providing legal support for US real estate transactions, including reviewing contracts, agreements, and disclosures related to property listings, offers, and closings. The attorney will draft and vet legal documents, ensure compliance with applicable US laws and regulations, and offer clear legal guidance to internal teams handling buyer and seller processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, identifying risk factors, advising on labor and employment matters as needed, and supporting negotiations between stakeholders in line with company policies.



The role also requires close collaboration with operations, compliance, and customer support teams to maintain high standards of accuracy, integrity, and service. Qualifications
• Strong foundational knowledge of Law with the ability to interpret and apply statutes, regulations, and contractual provisions in the US real estate context.
• Experience or coursework in Labor and Employment Law to address workforce-related legal issues and support internal HR and compliance needs.
• Demonstrated ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent Research skills for case law, regulatory updates, and industry standards relevant to real estate and corporate operations.
• Effective Negotiation skills for resolving contractual issues, managing disputes, and supporting agreements aligned with organizational goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) required; LLM or specialization in corporate or real estate law is an advantage.
• Prior experience in an in-house legal role, law firm, or US process environment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work reliably during night shifts.
• Ability to work in office in Mumbai, collaborate with global teams, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
